Emma Friedman (MCS'07, H&SS'07) currently serves as the Logistics Manager for the Department of Defense's Phased Array Radar Programs. She manages six programs with a combined annual budget of over 20 Million dollars. As a logistics manager, she is instrumental in the design, acquisition and lifecycle support of mission critical defense systems around the world. Emma will share her story of working in a highly competitive, male-dominated field, and some of the best parts of her experience at Carnegie Mellon that got her where she is today"
